These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Cetacean Nation LLC ("Dolfinscribe," "we," "us"), which operates the Dolfinscribe transcription service and the website at dolfinscribe.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Dolfinscribe lets you upload audio and video recordings and receive automated text transcripts that you can edit and export. Automated transcription is not perfect; you are responsible for reviewing transcripts before relying on them.
You must provide accurate information when you create an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and to upload only content you have the right to process. You may not use the Service to violate the law or the rights of others, or to disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
You retain ownership of the recordings and transcripts you upload or generate ("Your Content"). You grant us the limited rights needed to process, store, and deliver Your Content in order to provide the Service to you.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that transcripts will be accurate or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cetacean Nation LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
